ALL STAR SELECTION

•A head coach will be selected from a pool of nominated volunteers and voted on by the voting members of Bonny Eagle Little League.
• The head coach shall select his/her 1st assistant coach, and the board shall select the 2nd assistant coach after player selection has been completed.
• The head and assistant coach(es) must be current participants in Bonny Eagle Little League.
• 10, 11 & 12 year old All Star Draft, 9, 10 & 11 year old All Stars and the 8, 9 & 10 year old All Stars:
• Each coach may nominate as many all-star players as he/she deems fit. A selection committee comprised of the head coaches, and the Player Agent will choose the all-star team and two alternates designated as first and second. Alternates will not practice with the all-star team or suit up unless a regular all-star player is unavailable. When necessary, the first alternate will be called up and so forth.
• The criteria for the selection of players to any Bonny Eagle Little League All-Star Team shall be determined by, and equally weighed across, the following three components: 1. Coaching and Player Agent Evaluation: Direct feedback, input, and recommendations from the respective Division's Head Coaches and the League's Player Agent. This input shall address sportsmanship, dedication, attitude, skill, and overall team contribution. 2. Regular Season Performance: A quantitative analysis of individual regular season statistics, including but not limited to batting average, on-base percentage, pitching performance, and defensive contributions. 3. Mid-Season All-Star Game Observations: Direct, qualitative observations and evaluations made by the selection committee (or the appropriate League officials) during the Bonny Eagle Little League mid-season all-star game.
• There is no limit to the number of players from one team who can be selected for the all-star designation.
